Point to Point Network Configuration
In this article, we are going over how to configure the Point 2 Point, (P2P) network for connecting 2 buildings together.
First, assemble the dishes and plug them into the supplied POE Adapters. Note, you need to use a POE Injector and cannot use POE from a switch.
First, plug the POE Adapter into the wall and the LAN into your computer and the POE into the Host/AP dish. We will configure the client later.
Once it is plugged in and powered on, we want to assign an IP Address. Go into settings and change the IP Address to 192.168.0.101 for example.

Once that is configured, open a web browser and connect to 192.168.0.254
You will see a security error, ignore it and click proceed.
Once you proceed, you will be prompted with a login screen. Default username is admin and the password is admin.
From there, select Quick Setup, Access Point, and Next.
Set the IP Address as something that is not in use by the network. You can always reserve this later as well. Click next and finish up.
When this is done, connect the Client Dish to the POE and LAN cables and log into this Client with the 192.168.0.254 once again. You will need to login with Admin and admin for the password. Change it to the values listed above. Click quick setup once logged in and click on client.
Set the IP Address to the number after the Host, so in this case it would be 192.168.0.221
After you click next, hit the survey button.
Locate the SSID from the Host and select it. From there, click Lock to AP.
Click on next, and then finish.
Lastly, make sure to set the IP Address back to DHCP. Connect the Host to the main network and allign the dishes correctly. As long as the dishes are alligned, everything should be working.
